What to Expect During Your Visit to…
Privacy~Comfort~Trust
These are the cornerstones of my business:
Privacy
Just you (or family) and I will sit together privately and discretely. You may make an appointment that is convenient for you or simply drop by during hours. If you wish to discuss an estate at you home, I am available for house calls. Whatever transpires is 100% confidential.
Comfort
Let’s chat! Happy to talk about my experiences, history as a designer/jeweler and to take any questions you may have. This appointment is about you, about your needs…about your concerns. I may pose questions to you that you haven’t considered. We are developing a relationship.
Trust
I am a member of this community, an established jewelry veteran with 40+ years of acquired knowledge, training and expertise. A list of memberships appear below. Having stated that, I cannot know everything. To maximize your return, I may pause and take the time to further research certain collectables that may promise a higher value.

What comes next:
I will separate your parcel into matching gold karat values starting, e.g., 10k-14k-18k-24k etc. Each one has a clearly marked corresponding metal value. Karat gold may also be stamped with a decimal demarkation. .416-.583-.757 etc. If you have silver, the same holds true. Different products contain specific degrees of purity. As much as 99% pure for minted coins and bullion, Sterling (.925) which most commonly is used in modern jewelry and “Coin” silver which has copper added to the alloy for manufacturing properties. These principles hold true for various other precious metals as well.
Once values are established based on known factors mentioned above, I may ask permission the scratch, cut into or acid test items that may be questionable to confirm metal karat content.
At this point, you may determine what or if you wish to trade your precious metals for cash. I’ll make an offer based on established value.
Remember, there is no pressure to sell. I’ve had an opportunity to meet you and you now know what my list of services include for future needs.
